Glad you stopped by!  I’m Bob Wilke Master Sergeant of Marines, just a regular guy who has been lucky enough to serve our country by earning membership to the country’s finest gun club the U.S. Marines. I’ve been able to enjoy an exciting globetrotting lifestyle for close to 23 years now and 5 years and change of it were on the island of Okinawa.

  My first trip there was back in 1986 and my last flight off the “Rock” was in July of 2004. I’ve always had an interest in history and Militaria, but on Okinawa I found the real treasure lay in the camaraderie and friendship of like-minded people when we spent time together in the bush. These days I spend my off duty time near the pleasant coastal areas of North Carolina; diving for Megalodon (Shark) fossilized teeth off-shore, hunting for bottles and Civil War relics around the area, and panning for gold in the piedmont areas of the state. I enjoy the same camaraderie with a new group of relic hunters and family members as I search for whatever is the golden ring that week!
